Did You Know
Lids from metal food cans are too small and flat to go through sorting equipment on their own. Their sharp edges also create a potential harm for recycling workers. After rinsing all food contents out of your can, put the metal lid back inside and pinch the top closed. This helps ensure the lid stays inside, so that all parts of the can will be recycled and not cause harm or damage.
