Omaha Recycling Guide
Mint & Cookie Tins
Accepted in City of Omaha Recycling

Place EMPTY and CLEAN metal tins that held foods like mints or cookies in a curbside recycling cart or drop-off site container.
- Rinse to remove contents
- Lids and labels can stay on
- Keep items loose and DO NOT bag

Tip: Metal containers shorter than 3" (or the palm of your hand) should be placed inside a larger metal container that you plan to recycle. (For example: Place a small tin inside a larger soup can that you plan to recycle and pinch the top closed.)
