Paper-Padded Envelopes
Accepted in City of Omaha Recycling
Place empty, large paper-padded envelopes in a curbside recycling cart or drop-off site container.
- Labels can stay on
- Discard all non-paper contents
- Keep items loose and do not bag
Important Note: Not all mailers are the same! Envelopes made of mixed materials, such as a paper outside with plastic bubble wrap lining, should be placed in the garbage. Browse related items for more info.
Did You Know
Some large paper envelopes are padded with an inner paper stuffing. This type of all-paper envelope can be recycled just like a paper bag or box.
