Pool Chemical Containers
Not Accepted, Alternative Options Available
CAUTION: Household Hazardous Waste
DO NOT place containers that held pool chemicals in a City of Omaha curbside recycling cart or drop-off site container.
Pool chemicals, such as chlorine or algaecide are considered Household Hazardous Waste and require special handling.
- If you have product leftover, the best option is to use up the material for its intended purpose
- Completely EMPTY containers may be placed in the garbage
Important Note: Containers with leftover contents should be taken to the City's special waste facility, UnderTheSink.
